Burningpaw hissed, clearly bored with laying in his nest. He sat up, his pelt in knots, and pushed out of the apprentices' den, muscular body pushing the brambles around the den away. The tom looked around, just waiting for a cat to get out of their den so he could annoy them... "Any cat bored?" Burningpaw called out.

Eagleheart trotted away from the fresh-kill pile where she had just deposited her last catch of the morning, a sparrow surprisingly. It had been just on the edge of their territory pecking at ground distractedly, and she had quickly taken a chance and caught it. Prey was prey. Her head turned to the side at Burningpaw's call and, never one to pass up a possible new friend, the beautiful she-cat padded over to him, tail waving in the air, amber eyes glowing with friendliness.

"Want to show me how to hunt?" Burningpaw asked, looking at the she-cat who came by. He forced himself not to smirk, you look happy now, but wait until you learn what I'm really like.. He thought. The tom had such a small amount of guilt within him and guilt hardly ever crossed his mind. It would most likely take a murder or something of the sort for guilt to even start kicking into Burningpaw's mind.

Patchstar stared blankly into his Clan's camp. He seemed to look through everything in his vision's path. Plants. Trees. Dens. Cats. It was all nothing. He was just thinking at the moment, if this was true, then he wouldn't have become leader. He became leader because of the old leader's hope in him. The encouraging hunts, chats, meals. This all lead up to it. Being there for his clan. This was all there is, all there ever was to his life. But, sometimes there's that little pebble that makes the rest act different. He needed to find that cat, and maybe turn the personality around. At least that's what the old leader did to him. She lead him onward into the correct path. She helped him succeed. Now he needed to find the next. He heard a cat call from the other side of camp, the voice of... hmm, Burningpaw? Eagleheart went to join him, and got a little worried, as he saw a fiendish smirk just barely escape the cats lips. Like me... When I was young. He told himself. He padded over to the cats and heard the last words, "...how to hunt?". He padded up next to Burningpaw and rubbed his muzzle. "I can. We both can." He turned his gaze to Eagleheart.

Eagleheart was just about to cheerfully answer the tom when Patchstar padded up. The pretty she-cat politely dipped her head, amber eyes shining. "Yeah, we'd be glad to," she purred.
